## Description

Croce Rossa di Poirino is a local humanitarian association within the Italian Red Cross, serving people in and around Poirino, Italy. Independent and neutral, it works to prevent and relieve human suffering, protect life and health, and uphold respect for every person, without discrimination. Its work is guided by the Red Cross principles, including humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.

The association provides emergency medical response in partnership with Azienda Regionale 118 Piemonte, using ambulances and trained responders. It also arranges non-emergency medical transport for people who have difficulty walking or are confined to bed and need to attend healthcare appointments or hospital admissions. Health education is another key activity: the team offers first-aid and life-saving skills courses, BLSD/PBLSD training, and workplace first-aid courses for businesses. It can also provide medical and logistical support for events. Alongside these services, Croce Rossa di Poirino promotes healthy and safe lifestyles, social inclusion and community support.
