## Description

Croce Rossa Rubiera is the local volunteer committee of the Italian Red Cross, based in Rubiera, Italy. Its work is guided by the Red Cross’s principles and values, with activities organized across health, social support, and emergency response. The committee also focuses on young people and organizational development, and provides information about its volunteers and how to get involved.

Training is part of its work, with courses for prospective volunteers and practical public education, including a course on pediatric choking response. The committee shares updates about local initiatives and wider emergencies, such as the earthquake in Morocco and the Ukraine emergency. Its community activities have included fundraising through the sale of solidarity panettone and participation in the “Trees for the Future” initiative. The website also provides details about the committee’s history, mission, structure, statutes, and contact information, as well as information on supporting it through Italy’s five-per-thousand tax allocation. Croce Rossa Rubiera connects community service, volunteer engagement, emergency awareness, and public education in support of its local area.
