## Description

Critical Mass is a global cycling movement that champions the rights of cyclists and promotes sustainable transportation in urban environments. Originating in San Francisco in 1992, this decentralized event occurs on the last Friday of every month, where cyclists gather to ride through city streets. By coming together in numbers, participants create a visible presence that draws attention to the challenges cyclists face amidst car-centric infrastructure.

More than just a group ride, Critical Mass embodies a form of peaceful protest, advocating for safer road conditions and heightened awareness of cyclists’ needs among motorists and city planners. The movement fosters community among cyclists, breaking down stereotypes and encouraging greater acceptance of cycling as a legitimate mode of transport. Its impact extends beyond just the cycling community; it has influenced urban planning efforts to prioritize bicycle-friendly infrastructure, leading to safer roads and an improved cycling culture. Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a newcomer, Critical Mass invites all to join in promoting a more inclusive, sustainable future for city travel.
