## Description

The Foundation for Critical Thinking is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing effective, ethical critical thinking in education and society. For more than 40 years, it has worked to foster fair-minded thinking grounded in intellectual empathy, humility, perseverance, integrity, and responsibility. The organization supports educators, students, institutions, businesses, and professionals through a broad range of learning and development opportunities. These include live online workshops, courses, webinars, guided study groups, tutoring, certification programs, post-doctoral programs, and customized training for schools, colleges, organizations, and law enforcement. It also offers consulting for organizational leaders and provides critical-thinking assessment and testing resources. Through its Center for Critical Thinking and online learning community, the Foundation connects people with educational materials, events, research, and professional development. Its bookstore and publishing house offer books and related resources, while the publishing services support authors working to advance ethical critical thinking through editing, design, distribution, and marketing. The Foundation also conducts conferences and shares news, research, and practical resources for applying critical thinking.
