## Description

Critique Circle is an online writing workshop and community that has helped writers improve their work since launching in 2003. With thousands of active members, it brings together writers of varied ages, experience levels, genres, and perspectives to exchange feedback and discuss the craft of writing. Membership is free, with an optional premium subscription that provides additional features and perks.

The platform is built around reciprocity: members critique other writers’ stories to earn credits, then use those credits to submit their own work for review. Writers can apply the feedback they receive to revise and strengthen their manuscripts, while building connections with fellow authors. Critique Circle also offers active discussion forums covering a wide range of topics and a member-written blog featuring articles about writing, genres, and related subjects. Members control access to their submitted stories and can delete them at any time; the site says submissions are not treated as published online or discoverable through search engines.
