## Description

The Italian Red Cross – Vigone Committee is a local humanitarian organisation serving people across its territory. As part of the Italian Red Cross, it works to respond to everyday needs and emergencies, with particular attention to people in vulnerable situations. Its activities include emergency response, healthcare transport and safety services, as well as social support such as delivering groceries and medicines to people at home. The committee also promotes active citizenship among young people through school projects and activities for children, and provides volunteer nursing assistance through its Volunteer Nurses.

Training is a central part of its work. Courses are available to volunteers, residents and businesses, covering first aid, paediatric choking response, use of defibrillators, major bleeding and workplace safety.
