## Description

Croce Bianca Leno is a volunteer-led public assistance organization based in Leno, in the province of Brescia, Italy. Founded in 2003 as Croce Bianca del Dominato Leonense, it adopted the name Pubblica Assistenza Croce Bianca Leno ODV in 2019. Around one hundred volunteers provide ongoing support across the lower Brescia area, coordinating with the 112 emergency operations centre.

The association transports ill and injured people to nearby hospitals and provides first-aid assistance to people who are sick, injured, elderly, or living with disabilities. Its services also include private healthcare transport for hospital admissions, discharges, and dialysis appointments, as well as blood transport in collaboration with the rehabilitation department of Dominato Leonense Sanità. Volunteers provide medical coverage at public and sporting events.

Croce Bianca Leno also promotes community health and preparedness through first-aid training and courses qualifying non-professionals to use automated external defibrillators. It offers training for prospective volunteers, covering patient care, safe transport, emergency recognition, and appropriate response.
