## Description

Croce Rosa Celle Ligure is a volunteer-run public assistance association serving the community of Celle Ligure. Founded in 1982, it relies on its volunteers and the generosity of supporters rather than public funding. The association works with the 118 Savona emergency service, providing personnel and vehicles for urgent responses coordinated by the emergency operations centre.

Its services also include scheduled, non-emergency medical transport, such as journeys home after hospital discharge and travel to appointments, examinations, or treatment. Private transfers to and from hospitals and other healthcare facilities are available, as is social assistance for people with disabilities, provided in partnership with the Municipality of Celle Ligure. Croce Rosa can also supply medical support at public events and sporting activities.

The association promotes community preparedness through courses and public information, including training on defibrillator use and guidance on lifesaving techniques such as CPR. People can support its work by volunteering, becoming members, donating, or allocating their 5x1000 tax contribution to voluntary organisations.
