## Description

Crosshare is a free, ad-free, open-source community for crossword constructors and solvers. It brings puzzle creation, sharing, and play together in one place, welcoming both people who build crosswords and those who enjoy solving them. Visitors can play a new mini crossword each day at no cost, browse featured puzzles created by community members, and explore a range of formats and styles, including themed and cryptic crosswords.

For constructors, Crosshare offers a crossword-building tool and the option to upload existing .puz or .ipuz files. Puzzles can be shared through a Crosshare link, making it easier to invite others to solve them. The site also provides guidance and answers to common questions, including help with embedding puzzles, difficulty ratings, alternate solutions, and crossword terminology.

Crosshare supports its community through a weekly email highlighting popular puzzles and hosts a monthly midi crossword challenge. It also offers fundraising initiatives and branded merchandise. Donations are welcomed to help support the platform’s ongoing development, and users can contact the team by email or Discord with questions or suggestions.
