## Description

Crossley Thoroughbreds is a thoroughbred farm based in Avenel, Victoria, in the heart of the state’s thoroughbred country. Founded in 2023 by Mitch Pearce after a career in racing and breeding, the operation is set on 150 acres and run by a small, experienced team. Its core specialty is bespoke weanling and yearling preparation for commercial stock, with services covering the expert handling, feeding and preparation needed to present horses for sale. Crossley also accommodates mares, foals, young stock and racehorses spelling between preparations, offering owners a range of options for their horses’ care. The farm is conveniently located within 20 minutes of Darley, Swettenham, Yulong and Lovatsville, enabling walk-on service to these major Victorian stallion farms. Open to clients from across Australia, Crossley Thoroughbreds draws on its industry knowledge to support horse owners preparing and selling their stock. The business reports success at Inglis and Magic Millions sales in 2024 and planned to extend its presence at major sales in 2025.
