Crossroads for Youth, formerly known as Camp Oakland, has been providing a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk children aged 7-17 in rural, northern Oakland County for over 65 years. They offer a range of programs and services, including counseling, therapy, educational aid, and support. With 160 acres of beautiful grounds, Crossroads for Youth utilizes nature to facilitate emotional and psychological healing for their residents, many of whom have experienced neglect or abuse.

Their goal is to empower at-risk youth to evaluate their behavior and make thoughtful decisions throughout their lives. Referrals to Crossroads for Youth come from the Department of Health and Human Services and the juvenile justice program. The facility offers separate lodging for boys and girls, along with specialized programs such as the Achievement Center Program and the Oxford Crossroads Alternative School.
