Crossroads Mission Avenue is a Christian faith-based homeless shelter and food pantry located in the tri-city area of Grand Island, Nebraska. Established in 1983, our mission is to serve the hungry and needy in our community. What started as a small soup kitchen has now evolved into a state-of-the-art facility providing unparalleled services.

We offer much more than just a hot meal and a warm bed. Our 4-Phase Recovery Program and Personalized Case Management set us apart. Through our program, individuals like Jordan, who came from a broken family and struggled with alcohol abuse, have found hope and a new life.

At Crossroads, they can meet the Lord, learn life skills, and become productive members of society. We strive to create a sense of family and support for our guests, ensuring that they always feel welcome and cared for. In addition to our shelter and recovery program, we also offer transitional housing, food services, and operate thrift stores.
