## Description

The Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Association (CRPSA), formerly known as RSDSA, is a registered nonprofit organization that supports people affected by complex regional pain syndrome, a painful and debilitating condition. For more than 40 years, CRPSA has worked to provide patients, families, caregivers, and advocates with support, education, and hope while advancing research toward better treatments and a cure.

CRPSA offers practical information on CRPS signs and symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term living, with resources for adults, youth, families, and caregivers. Its educational materials include presentations, brochures, information packages, therapy resources, and clinical treatment guidelines. The organization also fosters connection through a message board, support groups, advocacy initiatives, and patient assistance funds. Programs include a young adult weekend retreat, a children’s camp initiative, and Carolyn’s Cards.

To advance research, CRPSA raises funds and collaborates with research groups and healthcare professionals worldwide. It shares studies, news, videos, and its In Rare Form newsletter, and hosts events and livestreams that inform and engage the CRPS community.
