## Description

Cruz, known as Cruz Chqn, is an independent game creator who develops games and digital projects. After discovering PC gaming through Fortnite and spending time in competitive gaming during the pandemic, Cruz moved through other first-person shooters and began making games, starting with lightweight experiences that can be played in a browser. The featured title, Crystal Quest, is a 3D survival shooter where players battle through endless waves.

Cruz also created CRUZ NEWS VIZ, an interactive news map designed to reveal connections among stories that are usually presented in separate categories. The project draws on more than 70,000 articles from 58 publishers and highlights trending topics across areas including artificial intelligence, games, film, music, and technology. The site also provides a daily view of news changes.

Cruz’s toolkit includes Godot, Rails, and Blender, along with Claude Code. Current work includes improving the news map’s keyword accuracy and preparing a season-based ranking system for Crystal Quest. A rhythm game is being considered as a future project.
