# ČSEtS - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `csets.sk` ## Description The Czech and Slovak Ethological Society (ČSEtS) is a professional association founded in 1992 to support the study of animal behaviour and the development of ethology. It brings together researchers, students and others interested in ethology and the natural sciences from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and abroad. The society promotes research, education and collaboration in both basic and applied ethology, and helps share knowledge about the behaviour of farmed, companion and wild animals. ČSEtS provides a forum for exchanging scientific findings, ideas and experience across disciplines. Its activities include organising specialist conferences and meetings, supporting research and educational development, and publishing conference proceedings and a society newsletter. Members can attend conferences, access professional information, and apply for awards and grants offered by the society. ČSEtS also recognises achievement through the Zdeněk Veselovský Award.
