## Description

The CSF Metabolome Database is a freely available scientific resource providing detailed information on small-molecule metabolites found in human cerebrospinal fluid. It documents 468 metabolites and 1,650 concentration values, with searchable and sortable data tables that help users explore measured concentrations and ranges. Each MetaboCard brings together more than 110 data fields, including chemical, clinical, literature, and molecular or biochemical information, with links to resources such as KEGG, PubChem, MetaCyc, ChEBI, PDB, Swiss-Prot, and GenBank. Integrated with the Human Metabolome Database, the resource lets users browse metabolites, concentrations, and associated diseases, and use broader text, sequence, chemical-structure, and relational searches. Downloads include collected sequence, image, and text files. The database is supported by researchers at the University of Alberta and The Metabolomics Innovation Centre (TMIC), a Genome Canada-funded facility serving scientific and industry communities. The site also highlights quantitative metabolomics technologies, biomarker discovery and validation services, and ready-to-use metabolomics kits. Commercial reuse of database data requires permission and acknowledgment.
