## Description

The Canadian Society for Immunology (CSI) is a member-based organization that fosters and supports immunology research across Canada. Managed by a council and located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Society also serves as a liaison between its members and national funding agencies, including the CIHR Institute of Infection and Immunity. CSI connects immunologists and colleagues at different career stages through its membership network and scientific programming. Its services include an annual spring scientific meeting, local and regional events, webinars, a member directory, job listings, and resources about immunology. Members receive discounted registration for the annual meeting, while trainee members can apply for travel awards to attend CSI meetings and International Congress of Immunology meetings. The Society also recognizes achievement through awards, including the Cinader Prize, and provides opportunities for early-career investigators. CSI shares news, career opportunities, meeting information, and member resources through its website. By bringing together researchers, supporting professional development, and facilitating communication, the organization helps strengthen Canada’s immunology community.
