## Description

Cetacean Society International (CSI) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation, education, and research of whales, dolphins, and porpoises (cetaceans) and their marine environment. With a mission to stop the killing, capture, and display of cetaceans, CSI works tirelessly to raise public awareness and encourage stewardship of these magnificent creatures and their habitats. CSI has been at the forefront of cetacean conservation for over 40 years, advocating for their protection and pioneering the concept that cetaceans are worth more alive than dead. As a recognized leader in the field, they have actively participated in international conferences, represented whales at the International Whaling Commission, and continued to expand their public education efforts. Despite having no offices or paid staff, CSI's dedicated board of volunteers invests resources in carefully vetted projects that directly contribute to the well-being of cetaceans around the world. Join CSI in their mission to protect these incredible animals by supporting their initiatives and following them on social media.
