Christian Service Mission is a non-profit organization serving the greater Birmingham area for Christ since 1970. Committed to building healthy communities that reflect Oneness with Christ, they work alongside churches to provide various services and resources. Guided by their core beliefs, which include being Gospel driven, pursuing oneness, and stewarding resources, Christian Service Mission has been making a positive impact for decades.

They have a rich history, starting with the establishment of a benevolent mission in the Southside of Birmingham in 1970. Over the years, they expanded their services, establishing the Food Source of Alabama and forming partnerships with over 110 organizations to provide food and resources in the greater Birmingham area. Under the leadership of Tracy Hipps, who joined as Executive Director in 2010, Christian Service Mission continues to connect resources to needs throughout Birmingham, hosting thousands of volunteers annually.

With a dedicated staff overseeing partnerships and volunteers, Christian Service Mission is committed to living out biblical justice, practicing responsible care, investing in community health initiatives, maximizing the volunteer experience, and developing Kingdom relationships
