Community Service Society of New York (CSS) is a longstanding and influential charitable organization that has been serving the people of New York since 1843. Our mission is to create an equitable New York by promoting economic opportunity and fighting for a fair and just city and state. We empower New Yorkers to bring about meaningful change through a comprehensive approach that combines data-driven research, direct services, and people-centric advocacy.
