## Description

Centro Social S. Pedro de Vilar do Paraíso is a Portuguese Private Institution of Social Solidarity, founded in 1985 to support older people and others facing hardship in the local community. Rooted in Vilar do Paraíso, the organisation aims to improve quality of life, promote inclusion and participation, and provide dependable social care with respect, transparency and responsibility.

Its services include a Day Centre, a Home Support Service (SAD) and a Senior Academy. Through its community support programme, the centre also distributes monthly packages of essential goods to dozens of families. It also shares information about its activities, social services, governance, annual plans and financial reports, and invites community members to support its mission or become associates.
