## Description

C. T. Hill is the author behind Ashes of the Eagle, a near-future military resistance series shaped by his experience as a U.S. Army Green Beret veteran. His background in Special Forces, military planning, and battlefield medicine informs stories about loyalty, power, betrayal, and the cost of resistance.

The series begins with The Remnant War, releasing October 20, 2026. Set in 2029, the novel follows former Green Beret Cal Mercer, who uncovers evidence of a hidden alliance taking control of the machinery beneath the American republic. As emergency powers erode constitutional limits and intelligence programs become political weapons, Mercer is branded a terrorist and pursued by his own government.

Hill’s website introduces the book and series through news, media, fictional transmissions, and story-world teasers, including broadcasts and intercepted records. Readers can explore the novel’s synopsis, find its Kindle listing on Amazon, and order signed paperback or hardcover copies with an optional personal inscription. The site also offers email updates about releases, appearances, and signed-copy availability.
