Connecticut Collections is a vibrant digital platform dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history and cultural heritage of Connecticut. This initiative offers a wealth of resources, including a comprehensive archive of historical objects, galleries, and archives that illuminate the state's diverse narratives. Users can explore collections covering various themes such as local history, notable institutions, and significant events in Connecticut's past.

The platform features highlighted collections, including artifacts from the East Windsor Historical Society and engaging themes like the history of amusements, comics, and pivotal moments in civil rights, exemplified by the Mississippi 1964: Tracy Sugarman and the Freedom Summer Project. With user-friendly browsing options and advanced search capabilities, Connecticut Collections encourages visitors to discover and connect with their heritage.

The project is supported by the Connecticut League of Museums and Central Connecticut State University, ensuring a collaborative effort in celebrating and educating about Connecticut’s historical significance through its collections.
