## Description

Community Technology Development Trust (CTDT) is a non-profit organization established in 2009, dedicated to enhancing the livelihoods of rural communities in Zambia through sustainable practices in biodiversity conservation and natural resource management. Central to CTDT's mission is the promotion of agrobiodiversity, enabling farmers to cultivate, manage, and benefit from a diverse range of traditional plant varieties.

The organization focuses on various areas, including household food and nutrition security, climate change advocacy, policy development, and gender mainstreaming. By supporting the cultivation of a wide array of crops, CTDT aims to improve nutrition and resilience among marginalized communities. Their interventions are designed to restore and enhance local crops while ensuring that farmers have ownership and control over these resources.

With a vision of fostering food and nutrition security and resilience to climate change, CTDT is committed to empowering farmers through research, capacity building, and partnerships. For more information, CTDT is located on Plot 127 Great East Road, Chainama in Lusaka, or can be contacted via telephone or email.
