Founded in 1998 by Adam Vocks and Billy Williams, who discovered their passion for computers and technology at a young age, CTI started as a computer sales and service/repair business. Recognizing the potential in the emerging internet market, they soon became an Internet Service Provider, offering digital dial-up services. As technology continued to evolve, CTI ventured into DSL and Fixed Wireless Internet, providing connectivity solutions to rural areas. In 2011, Adam and Billy recognized the increasing demand for high-speed internet and embarked on a pioneering project to bring Fiber Internet to their hometown of Taylorville. Despite facing multiple challenges and rejections from banks, they persevered and successfully launched a fiber optic network in a test neighborhood. Through their dedication and efforts, CTI Fiber overcame initial hurdles, educated the community about the benefits of Fiber Internet, and attracted enough subscribers to make the network profitable. Today, CTI Fiber continues to expand and provide reliable, high-speed internet connectivity to communities, offering an array of services including Fiber Internet, TV options, Phone services, and Tech Service & Repair. With a customer-centric approach and a commitment to technological innovation, CTI Fiber is transforming the way people experience and connect with the digital world.
