The Center for Process Studies (CPS) is a faculty-based research center at Claremont School of Theology, dedicated to exploring interconnection, change, and intrinsic value as core features of our world. CPS conducts cutting-edge research and develops educational resources in diverse disciplines such as science, ecology, culture, philosophy, religion, education, psychology, and political theory. Their unique transdisciplinary style harmonizes fragmented disciplinary thinking, fostering integrated and holistic understanding. Cobb, Jr., CPS aims to create positive social change, protect the environment, and bridge cultural and religious traditions. They offer a comprehensive agenda on social, political, and economic orders, and promote discussions between Eastern and Western worldviews. Established in 1973 by John B. Cobb, Jr. CPS has evolved and continues to thrive, now located in St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Milwaukie, OR.
