## Description

Cuivres en Ardennes is an association based in Sedan, France, dedicated to celebrating brass and percussion through an annual festival and summer music course. Its festival presents artists and ensembles across a wide range of musical styles, bringing concerts, discovery and conviviality to venues and public spaces around the city. The 2026 edition runs from July 25 to August 1 and features performances ranging from brass fanfares and chamber music to European folk traditions, alongside events involving festival participants and emerging musicians. Some concerts are free, while others require tickets or advance reservations.

The association’s music course offers brass and percussion players a week of musical learning and shared practice. Participants can work with professional musicians, explore new musical experiences and play in different group settings. The course welcomes instruments including trumpet, cornet, trombone, horn, saxhorn, euphonium, tuba and percussion. Over its 20-year history, the summer program has attracted musicians from across France and neighboring countries.
