## Description

Cultivating Resilience LLC helps organizations integrate resilience thinking into their operations and strategic planning, with a focus on climate solutions for agriculture, food systems, and communities. Founded by soil scientist Laura Lengnick, the practice draws on her 30 years of experience as a researcher, policymaker, educator, activist, and farmer working to advance sustainability in U.S. food and farming. Its services include consulting, research, speaking, writing, teaching, and the development of assessment, planning, and management tools. The team conducts resilience assessments, supports climate risk management, develops carbon management plans, and designs interactive workshops for diverse audiences. Its projects have included community-based agricultural climate initiatives, farmer and rancher training, and collaborative planning for a climate-smart research and teaching farm. Cultivating Resilience also shares practical resources and stories to connect resilience concepts with action. Laura is the author of Resilient Agriculture: Cultivating Food Systems for a Changing Climate, which explores how farmers and ranchers are adapting to climate change.
