## Description

CultureMix Arts is a brand that specializes in steel pans, also known as steel drums. These instruments are definite-pitch, acoustic, percussion instruments that originated from Trinidad in the Caribbean. The steel pans consist of a circular playing surface made from steel, which is stretched into a concave shape and attached to a hollow, cylindrical resonator called a skirt. These instruments are typically recycled from 55-gallon oil drums. CultureMix Arts offers a range of steel pan musical instruments, catering to various needs and preferences. They provide affordable, flexible starter sets for schools and communities, as well as professional chromed instruments for experienced steel pan musicians. The starter sets come complete with stands, cases, and sticks. The brand also supplies made-to-measure racks for storage and offers guidance on setting up a steel band for schools and communities. CultureMix Arts sources its steel pan instruments from experienced UK-based makers from Trinidad, ensuring the highest quality. The brand's steel pan stands are unique and powder-coated in black, silver grey, or a color of choice, providing durability and sturdiness. For those interested in purchasing steel pans, CultureMix Arts offers a personalized service, guiding customers through the selection process, delivery, and setup of their instruments.
