## Description

Carnevalverein “Germania” 03 Lollar e.V. is a carnival and community club based in Lollar, Germany, with roots dating back to 1903. Founded by 44 young men as the “Freier Burschenclub,” it became the sociability club “Germania” in 1904. The club now brings people together through carnival traditions, social gatherings, and events throughout the year, welcoming anyone interested in joining the festivities.

Its activities include performances and celebrations featuring groups such as the Tanzgarde, Prinzengarde, and Elferrat, as well as annual carnival princes and princesses who represent the club. The event calendar includes a grand carnival session, a town hall takeover, children’s carnival, a carnival procession in Giessen, and seasonal gatherings such as a May festival. The club also publishes a Kreppelzeitung, inviting members and supporters to submit humorous stories and anecdotes. Through its events, groups, membership opportunities, and club shop, CVL offers a lively way to take part in local carnival culture and community life.
