## Description

CV de Marskoppen is a Dutch carnival association founded in 1970, built around friendship, community spirit and celebrating carnival together. The group began as a small, enthusiastic gathering at Camping de Mars in Lathum and has grown into a long-standing association with a history of seasonal festivities and community involvement. Its website shares association news, updates and an agenda of activities for the upcoming carnival season, and provides information for people interested in becoming members. Visitors can learn about the board, former princes who have led the association during carnival seasons, and honours such as the Rustige drinker and Zilveren Steek. The Marskoppen also identify Café Cash in Elden as their carnival venue. To mark its 55th anniversary, the association introduced a Jubilee Prince and Princess, Mark I and Lotte, and invited supporters to join its Club van 55 and help celebrate the milestone. CV de Marskoppen offers a welcoming way to take part in local carnival traditions and share in the association’s celebrations.
