# Coachella Valley Public Cemetery District - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `cvpcd.org` ## Description The Coachella Valley Public Cemetery District, established in 1927, is a Special District that operates independently from local governments. With a vast service area spanning approximately 3,444 square miles in Coachella, California, the district offers a range of services and facilities to cater to the needs of the public. The district has conducted over 22,000 interments and installed more than 15,000 grave markers, providing families with a dignified resting place for their loved ones. Records for all interments are readily accessible at the cemetery's Administration Office during business hours. The site spans a total of 60 acres, 29 of which have been developed for interment purposes, assuring the community that their needs will be met until 2070. Governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, the district prioritizes providing an attractive, safe, and peaceful environment for both the community and staff. As a Special District, it is partially funded by property taxes, and individuals outside the district are required by law to pay a surcharge for interment in the cemetery. With the mission to serve the community effectively, the Coachella Valley Public Cemetery District is dedicated to meeting the needs of the public in the most efficient manner possible. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Decease _(under Community and Society)_ - ⚖️ Law and Government - ⚖️ Government _(under Law and Government)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/cvpcd) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idEn6IdZ42/w/764/h/764/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1752550542288) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idEn6IdZ42/w/946/h/946/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1752550542601) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Green Pea | #226868 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Gallery | #ededed | light | ## Fonts - helvetica — asset _(custom)_ - helvetica — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
