## Description

The Club de planeur de Québec is a nonprofit association bringing together glider pilots, student pilots, certified instructors, tow pilots and aviation enthusiasts. Based at Saint-Raymond Airport in the Portneuf region, the club also operates in Baie-Saint-Paul, Charlevoix, during September and October. Its flying season usually runs from April to November, with flying days dependent on weather.

The club welcomes people who want to experience gliding, learn to fly or explore the sport. Visitors can take a flight in a two-seat glider and enjoy quiet views over Portneuf and Charlevoix. Aspiring pilots can follow structured training at their own pace with experienced, certified instructors. The club also helps newcomers understand how gliders use rising air currents to travel, sometimes over long distances.

Its fleet includes several glider models, as well as aircraft used for towing. Run through the active involvement of its members, the club offers a supportive setting to discover and practise gliding, with safety central to its operations.
