## Description

Clean Water Works Education Foundation (CWWEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping communities understand water reuse, conservation, sustainability, and solid waste management. Created from the vision of the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts, the Foundation works throughout the Districts’ service area in Los Angeles County, connecting residents and students with the importance of managing water and waste as valuable resources.

CWWEF provides educational programs, STEM opportunities, and hands-on learning for students and local communities. Its offerings include educational tours of treatment plants and materials recovery facilities, sewer science and learning activities, K–8 curriculum programs, and environmental education covering sustainability, green energy, watershed care, and water management. Through these programs and community outreach, the Foundation aims to inform and motivate current and future generations to protect water and support responsible resource management.

CWWEF also seeks to inspire future engineers, scientists, operators, planners, and other professionals to pursue knowledge and careers that contribute to an environmentally sustainable future.
