## Description

The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) is a Sydney-based yacht club established in 1944 and located on the Rushcutters Bay foreshore, about 10 minutes from the city centre. It is widely known as the home of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, one of the most prominent events in its sailing calendar. The club supports sailors through a broad program of racing, including offshore series and regattas, harbour races, youth competitions and sailing pathways. Members and visitors can access race entries, results, sailing resources, crew opportunities and free introductory sailing through the club’s Go Sailing program. CYCA also operates a Youth Sailing Academy and offers membership options, a marina and club facilities, bars and dining, event spaces, and official clothing and merchandise. Its website shares race coverage, club news, results and event information, while Offshore Online provides digital subscriptions and member access. Based at 1 New Beach Road, Darling Point, the club serves the sailing community through events, facilities, education and opportunities to participate in the sport.
