## Description

Cyclassur is a French bicycle insurance brand that has offered coverage for bicycles and electric-assist bikes since 2005. Its policies are designed for a wide range of cycles, including mountain, road, city, track and BMX bikes. Customers can insure eligible bicycles valued up to €8,000 for a 12-month period, with no excess stated in the offer, and can spread qualifying premiums over three payments through Alma.

Coverage includes theft and attempted theft involving forced entry or assault, as well as accidental damage. Depending on the circumstances, Cyclassur covers repairs or replacement of the insured cycle. An optional personal accident benefit provides a fixed €1,000 payment for specified bodily injuries resulting from a road accident or violence connected with a theft or attempted theft. Through its Cyclassist assistance service, the brand also arranges and covers 24/7 breakdown support or towing after a breakdown, accident, theft or attempted theft, including transport home.
