## Description

Cycle 66 is an Oklahoma cycling event celebrating the state’s historic Route 66 while supporting the communities along the Mother Road. Held in Edmond, the event brings together cyclists, racers, sponsors, and volunteers for a day of riding, competition, and community involvement. Its next event is scheduled for October 4, 2026.

Participants can choose a ride suited to their ability, from first-time cyclists to experienced riders, with support from SAG services and rest stops along the route. The program also features a high-energy criterium race in downtown Edmond, where elite cyclists compete on a fast-paced course. Volunteers help deliver the event, assisting with activities such as registration packet distribution and finish-line support.

Cycle 66 directs proceeds from every registration to charitable organizations in communities along Route 66. The event also promotes preservation of the historic roadway for future generations. In addition to registration, Cycle 66 welcomes volunteers and sponsors, and offers information about the event, its history, and community mission through its website.
