Cycling Ireland

Cycling Ireland is the National Governing Body for cycling on the island of Ireland and is internationally recognized by the UCI and UEC. Established in 1987, Cycling Ireland brings together various cycling bodies to promote, develop, and organize cycling activities across all disciplines. As one of the three priority sports under the Irish Government's National Sports Policy, Cycling Ireland receives support from both governments on the island.

With over 26,000 members and nearly 500 clubs, Cycling Ireland sanctions around 1,000 events and manages over 200,000 event entries annually. Cycling Ireland's strategic vision is to create a cycling-enriched island. They offer a wide range of services and programs, including membership, route finding, facility locating, education and courses, high-performance training, and initiatives like Bike to Work and Women in Sport.

Additionally, Cycling Ireland supports and safeguards the sport through advocacy, anti-doping measures, safeguarding practices, and technical support.
