## Description

Devices 4 the Disabled (D4D) is a nonprofit organization that helps people with disabilities live more fully by repurposing donated medical equipment and providing specialized support at no cost. Its work focuses on improving mobility, independence, and dignity by connecting people with equipment that can make everyday activities more accessible. Through its equipment request service, D4D assists individuals and families seeking practical solutions, while its donation program gives medical equipment a second life. Supporters can also contribute to the organization’s mission, helping extend its reach and impact.

D4D shares stories of people whose lives have changed through access to equipment, including children able to get to school and adults with complex conditions who gain tools for daily living. The organization also recognizes advocates and community members who advance mobility and opportunity. Its work is supported by corporate and foundation sponsors, donors, and a board bringing expertise in healthcare, business, nonprofit governance, and lived experience.
