## Description

Dachgemüse is an urban gardening start-up based in Erfurt, Thüringen, showing how fresh vegetables can be grown in the city. Its urban farm supplies locally grown produce and supports people who want to make balconies, terraces, and other small spaces greener and more productive. Through its online shop, Dachgemüse offers organic seeds and young plants for gardeners, including those without a traditional garden.

Customers can also join a Gourmet Vegetable Box subscription featuring unusual vegetable varieties grown and freshly harvested on the Erfurt city farm. Boxes are available weekly or every two weeks during a six-month season, with collection at the farm or delivery by cargo bike to listed areas in and around Erfurt. Dachgemüse also hosts urban gardening workshops, tomato tastings, and guided farm tours, giving participants practical ways to explore city growing and local produce. Its blog shares project news and tips for cultivating vegetables in urban spaces. Across its products and events, Dachgemüse connects city gardening with sustainably grown food and hands-on learning.
