## Description

DAELA Academy is a permanent makeup (PMU) education provider based in Portland, Oregon, offering training for aspiring and practicing cosmetic tattoo artists. Its instructors are master trainers who also work at DAELA Cosmetic Tattoo, connecting students with experienced practitioners and an active studio environment. The academy serves newly licensed artists, professionals seeking continuing education, and skilled artists looking to add techniques or improve their work.

Training is available through hands-on, in-person classes and flexible online courses. In-person programs include two-day instruction with a live model, a professional kit and manual, a completion certificate, and access to related online learning and business resources. Course subjects include areola restoration, eyeliner tattooing, lip blush, microblading, ombre powder brows, and scar camouflage. Online offerings include master courses, specialty training, free educational videos, and a membership library. The academy also provides educational content on client communication, technique, healing, and building a PMU business. DAELA emphasizes that fundamental machine skills require supervised, in-person mentorship; online learning is intended to support education, not replace practical instruction.
