With his latest venture as a board member of a local sports club, Korfbal club Sparta Ranst, Herman also dedicates his time as a volunteer. With an array of interests, Herman has made his mark as a tech blogger, travel blogger, automotive enthusiast, and GDPR advocate. Throughout his blogging journey, some notable milestones include the launch of the first Vehicle as a Benefit (VAA) calculation tool for calculating the fiscal costs of a company car in 2011, and being involved in the media frenzy surrounding a discovery he made during the ticket sales for Tomorrowland festival in 2014. Herman's passion for sharing knowledge continues to thrive as he takes on roles as a lecturer at Thomas More Mechelen and a practical assistant at UHasselt. As Herman enters a new phase of life, he also finds time to engage in volunteer work in his local sports club in Ranst.
