## Description

Dakota Game Lodge is a hunting and lodging destination in a quiet rural setting near Onaka, South Dakota, about 15 miles from the nearest town. Its private grounds include grassland, cropland and tree belts that provide habitat for wild pheasants. Guests can choose professionally guided or non-guided pheasant hunts, with onsite game cleaning available after the hunt. For coyote and fox hunting, the lodge offers self-guided trips, access to private hunting land and maps with directions; hunters bring their own equipment and may keep the furs they take.

The remodeled lodge accommodates up to ten people and is available year-round for hunting trips or family getaways. Amenities include a game room with a bar, spacious accommodations for dogs, outdoor recreation areas, a horseshoe pit and a swing set. Guests can also use the trap-shooting range to practice or try out a firearm.

The website also introduces Champion Vizslas, a separate breeding and training operation run by Sarah and Cody Wesch.
