## Description

DakotaRidge Labradors is a small kennel in east-central South Dakota, surrounded by established upland bird and waterfowl hunting country. The kennel raises Labrador Retrievers with the goal of producing healthy, capable dogs that thrive both in the field and at home. Its dogs are hunted extensively on pheasants, partridge, chukar, ducks, and geese, and are also used for guided hunting trips. DakotaRidge Labradors focuses on hunting companions and hunt-test dogs while valuing their role as family pets. The kennel produces only a few litters each year, and all puppies come from parents tested for hip, elbow, and eye health, as well as genetic conditions including EIC, CNM, and PRA. The parents are also described as dilute-free. In addition to puppies, the kennel occasionally offers started gun dogs for sale. DakotaRidge Labradors provides full-service retriever training, including gun dog and hunting dog programs, along with AKC and UKC hunt-test training and handling. The kennel invites prospective owners to inquire about puppies and training services.
