## Description

DAMA Denmark is a non-profit organization for data management professionals and an officially approved affiliate of DAMA International since September 2020. It brings together practitioners and leaders who want to develop their expertise, share practical knowledge, and strengthen the role of data in organizations. Its community welcomes people at different career stages and across sectors, including government, finance, logistics, and technology.

Members can pursue Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification through a structured path based on defined competencies, assessment, and official recognition. Certification provides a way to demonstrate knowledge and practical competence, with a certificate and digital badge for professional profiles.

DAMA Denmark also creates opportunities to learn and connect through expert-led talks, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, networking events, and an annual flagship event. Its East and West Denmark communities host regional meetups, workshops, and topic-focused gatherings, helping members build connections across locations and industries. Through membership, professional development, certification, and events, DAMA Denmark supports a collaborative community for people committed to advancing data management.
