## Description

DANE Wine is the wine brand of DANE Holdings Limited, a family-owned company founded by Eng. Danford Semwenda and Neema. Rooted in Nkulabi Village in Tanzania’s Dodoma Region, the family began growing grapes in 2009, continuing a tradition inspired by their grandparents, who farmed grapes in the 1970s and 1980s. The brand celebrates its regional heritage with the slogan “The Taste of Dodoma, True to Our Roots.”

DANE makes wines from grapes grown in villages across Dodoma, including Chenin Blanc and the local Makutupora variety. Its collection includes sweet wines, such as the best-selling DANE NK Super Sweet Red, as well as dry red and white wines. The Super Sweet Red is offered in several bottle sizes, from 330 ml to 5 litres, and has an alcohol content of 16% ABV.

Beyond wine, DANE offers estate visits, vineyard tours and tasting experiences in Nkulabi. Guests can learn about grape growing and winemaking, enjoy local Gogo music and food, and connect socially or professionally.
