## Description

ADoCeS Danilo Ruzza ODV is a volunteer association based in Adria, in the province of Rovigo, Italy. Founded in 1995, it promotes the donation of hematopoietic stem cells from bone marrow, peripheral blood and umbilical cord blood. Its work focuses on helping more people understand donation and encouraging them to become potential donors for patients who need a stem-cell transplant but do not have a compatible donor in their family.

The association offers information and guidance on becoming a donor and on cord blood donation. It also runs awareness and outreach projects, including meetings with students, interactive webinars and weekly podcasts featuring donors and former patients. Its initiatives include encouraging new fathers to register as donors and reconnecting with young adults whose cord blood was donated to public health service banks at birth. ADoCeS Danilo Ruzza ODV shares news about its activities and local campaigns, and invites the community to support its work through donations and Italy’s five-per-thousand tax contribution. It serves Rovigo and surrounding areas.
