The Dannon Project, based in Birmingham, AL, is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting unemployed or underemployed at-risk youth and non-violent returning citizens reintegrate into society. Our mission is to provide these individuals with the necessary tools and support to become law-abiding, productive citizens who contribute to building healthy and safe communities. At The Dannon Project, we offer a range of supportive services that include short-term training, certifications, job placement, and re-entry case management.

Our intensive case management system allows us to start working with incarcerated individuals six months prior to their release, ensuring a smooth transition and reducing the likelihood of recidivism. We not only focus on restoring the lives of our participants, but their families as well, offering a second chance at achieving life success. In addition, we collaborate with various industries to help each participant find and maintain a job aligned with their interests and skills.
