## Description

Dansk Oplysnings Forbund (DOF) is a Danish national organisation for independent, non-partisan adult education associations, known as evening schools. It supports its member schools and promotes public education on a free and neutral basis, while advocating for better conditions for evening schools at local and national levels.

DOF provides practical services and expert guidance to help schools operate and develop. Support includes payroll processing, IT tools for administration and websites, email and office software, insurance and purchasing agreements, fundraising resources, print services, and help with digital marketing. The organisation also offers consultancy, professional networks, inspiration, and courses for school leaders, board members, and teachers.

Its guidance covers a wide range of operational and legal topics, including association governance, employment and payroll, grants and accounting, data protection, health and safety, and municipal regulations. DOF also shares resources on accessible teaching, dementia-friendly activities, communication, and sustainable community initiatives. Through projects such as DOF Grøn Hverdag, it provides ideas and knowledge to encourage more sustainable everyday habits.
