Danube Dragons is an American Football brand based in Vienna, Austria. As the reigning state champions and Austrian Bowl winners of 2022, they are a force to be reckoned with. Providing American Football for both children and adults, they offer top-notch coaching and are the leaders of the Austrian Football League (AFL). Established in 1985, the Dragons have grown significantly over the years and are proud to have 350 active members and athletes in their American Football Club. With dedicated trainers and support staff, they ensure that their sportspersons receive year-round assistance. The Dragons host around 10 games annually, attracting approximately 1,500 American Football fans. Thanks to their recent victories and the growing interest in US sports, these numbers continue to rise. Football enthusiasts of all ages and abilities, regardless of gender, size, or weight, can find their place and thrive in the Dragons' teams. They have two teams in the highest divisions of the country for adults, as well as five youth teams spanning ages 6 to 18. With their recent triumph in the Austrian Football League, winning a thrilling Austrian Bowl game against the Vienna Vikings 14:13, the Dragons have solidified their position as the Austrian national champions for 2022. This brand truly embodies a passion for American Football, offering an inclusive and exciting experience for all.
